NYC Toriphiles: SERIOUS HELP NEEDED

PLEASE READ THIS (I beg you!)

My name is Gianmarco, im from Lima,Perú and in 2 days ill be traveling to NYC for some days. Reason? Cant u guess? Yeap, u are right: I WANT TO SEE TORI live.
Last year i bought my ticket for the Radio City Music Hall concert (March 6th) and i just cant wait to be there; 2 times i had a chance to see Tori, last tour i even had tickets, but i had some serious problems also. I had to sell the tickets.
But this year im looking foward to have a great Tori Experience! And well, its not like i travel everyday to the States just to watch a concert.
This will only be my 2nd time in NYC, so its not like i know the city....

I better get to the point: I WANT TO BE IN THE MEET & GREET.
So ppl, can u please help me with this?

Where do i have to go?
How many hours before the show?
Who do i have to kill to just try to get close to Tori?

Please, i really need help.

No, but seriously, I have confirmed with someone who has been to a lot more M&Gs than I have that if someone is out of line, he will pick them out of the crowd and they will not participate in the M&G.

Now, my general advice: Just arrive at the theatre (in this case, RCMH) at about noon. USUALLY, this will give you a good chance at getting up front. I say USUALLY since I have arrived before then and have that NOT happen to me. Either a lot of people will have arrived before you OR, even if they did not, some are very rude and push their way to the front, regardless of whether you had been there since 6 AM in the morning freezing your butt off while they were doing whatever in a warm room somewhere else. It is not fair but it happens, and I would expect that New Yahkers, not being the most friendly or courteous people, may act like this.

BTW: I have an extra pair of tickets for the Saturday March 8th show, if you are interested. Look for me at the Thursday M&G if you want. I will be freezing my butt off with the other die-hards. My name is Karl.

O, and I forgot to mention. DRESS WARMLY!! Since you are from Peru, you probably know how to do that. Tori actually shows up between 3-4 (USUALLY, maybe later if she is doing radio promos or whatever during the day, very likely in NYC) so you will be out in the cold for at least a few hours.

U mean i just have to wait IN FRONT of the Radio City Music Hall?

Well, I've never been to RCMH either but it shouldn't be hard to find. What you want to look for is a side-stage door. Walk around RCMH (or the block it is on) and look for a side-stage door. Most likely, there will be some diehards there before you, hanging around like a group against the building. I guess you run the risk of trying to start the group which I have done a couple of times. One time, I totally screwed up and was waiting on the wrong side of the building. OUCH! But you should do fine.

I am so sorry I was not there on Thursday, to at least meet you. As you probably know by now, the M&G on Thursday was cancelled, as were the two previous in Portland and Durham. I was sick as a dog in Brooklyn, staying at my friend's condo, watching the snow fly. As Maria told me at Friday's M&G, Joel has been saying that if the temps are below 40 and/or it is windy, the M&Gs will be cancelled. At least I got better for Friday's M&G (which was fantastic) but that did not help you.

Anyway, you got to see a great show. Hope your trip back to Peru was a good one.

Dont Worry, i had a great time at the show.
Who cares the day was cold as hell, i got to see my idol!
There are not enought words to describe how happy i was during the concert.

I haven't had time to look for the boots (yet). I should get to work on it in the next few weeks. Unfortunately, my CD-burning PC is down so I need to rebuild it so I can spread the love.

Anyway, glad you enjoyed the show and got to see her, if not real close up. Sorry about the New York weather!!

hahaha OMG you're absolutely right. Steve is the jumpy one haha! I too had a bad expirience with him. He's got issues man! But at least he's protecting our lovely Tori.
