PLEASE READ ALL FORUM GUIDELINES BEFORE POSTING

Toriforum is a free forum with free registration, offered by Proboards.com.
Toriforum members MUST abide by the Proboards Terms of Service, or we risk having our board completely erased.
Please take special note of the
CONTENT RESTRICTIONS for our site and follow them!:
"Your web site must conform to the following standards to be eligible to utilize this service:
We do NOT tolerate Harassing, Name Calling, Slandering or prejudices in this forum so please try to keep those under your hat so we can all feel welcome and comfortable here. We will NEVER almost always agree on the same things. A lot of us are from different countries and states within the US mainly, a lot of us barely speak english, some of us don't know as much as others when it comes to peticular subjects or issues on life in daily but that does not mean that we are not all equal in deserving the same amount of respect that you would exect someone to give to you. And if you make a mistake and find yourself hurting someone else stop and think about what you could be doing. There is nothing wrong with going back. If you find yourself having a moment when you are a bit hypocritical or perhaps selfish and you need to step away and come back DO IT. We are not perfect angels, we make mistakes. But it can't go further. We have to be accepting of all cultures, all mistakes, all apologies and all barriers within eachother because we are so different.
Refrain from conflict in this forum. It is one thing to Debate on an issue but when the matter is taken too seriously that is when we have problems of our own. Debates, Constructive Criticisms and Freedom of Speech are open so long as you respect the person you are having these discussions with and do not let the matters get out of hand. So umm... if you have to fight fine but just know we said we don't like it and if it gets waaaaaaay too out of hand we will not tolerate it either.
We do not censor language, I do not have a problem with your language in this forum so long as it isn't directed negatively towards someone else in order to hurt a person's feelings. The ONLY thing we ask when we are in forum discussion is that you keep Bad language (you know what I mean) out of the Title Subject Line of any topic. This is apropriate for the forum as well as for the children and I can't force you to do anything you don't want to do but it would help if members tried placeing a "WARNING" if the language is going to get out of control. It's not a huge thing to ask out of us, just the moral thing to ask. We all have done our share of Bad Language, there's nothing like the present to start thinking whether or not it's right to let it get out of control, for the protection of the children that do come here as well as for the protection of the forum getting shut down by our host as well.
When choosing words and photos to include in your signature or avatar, or anywhere else for that matter, we ask that you please be considerate and respectful of others. We all have different viewpoints on many different topics and there is NO possible way that we will all agree about everything all of the time. However, if something posted on this forum is found to be blantantly offensive, whether it be in language or content, an administrator or moderator may approach the member who posted it and request that it be removed/changed. The admins/mods here volunteer their help to make sure this place runs smoothly and offers all the fun, insight, sharing, and Tori-talk that it possibly can while making everyone feel welcome, and while staying within the 'proboards' guidelines. Your membership here includes a responsibility that you keep all these guidelines in mind and abide by them, so that we can keep this site up and running for everyone.
Please keep an open mind in this forum. Things always change, so do people. We are all constantly changing in our lives every single day. Our choices and decisions in life will change. We will make mistakes and recover from them but not without the support of everyone else and not the judgmental behavior we have seen so many times in other places.
Do not give out personal information, we ask for your own safety and that is just a warning. we cannot be responsible for your posting personal information, we can only ask that you do not. This includes, phone numbers, home addresses, social security numbers, license numbers ..ect. E-Mail addresses are fine to post, so is the state you live in but that is it. Do not give out someone else's E-mail address.
We will absolutely under no circumstances discuss forum business or decisions with those who are NOT staff members. Only forum suggestions will be discussed within the board and taken in to consideration, do not think that if we agree with you we have made any decisions, all decisions must go through the grape vine to come out as the wine so keep that in mind please. If you do have a question for the forum we will answer only those we can in the "Forum Questions/ Complaints" forum. As for discussing personal issues between members and ourselves which is confidential, please don't ask, we won't spread gossip and we will only advise you to read this rule again.
Please, if you are having a serious troubled situation with another individual on this board come to us first for assistance before you go attempting on slandering them on the board which can get you in a heap of trouble with lots of angry mob-like people *wink*. If you can't come to us we suggest that you try to ignore the problem until someone else comes along. Either way you have one option. We would love to be there for you and help you but we can only do this if you open up to us about what's going on. You may do this by E-Mailing us at Info@AllTheseYears.net or through the forum questions / suggestions and complaints section.
NO INTERNET DRAMA! If you can't get along with a member of this forum just don't talk to them. There is no use hurting feelings to gather attention. Seeking attention and diliberately coming into our forum to cause problems is nothing but selfish and demeaning to yourself and to those aroundyou whom are effected by your behaviors. If you want to start discussion on anything personal just e-mail that person, don't bring it into this forum because honestly it doesn't look good on your part and everybody knows a good drama starter when they see one. That will be an automatic ban and you will no longer be allowed to post in our forum. This is not censorship, this is protection! If you don't agree go make your own Tori Amos Forum.
Please do not post pictures of Children on this forum. This could be dangerous and we just think it's best to not allow any pictures of the member's children on the forum. We have posted pictures of our nieces and nefews, our children and our sisters and brothers and cousins, the list goes on. But this is a thing of the past. This new rule was put into action in the year of 2003 in the hopes of becoming more AWARE about Child's Safety on the internet and identity protection as well. Better safe than sorry.
Do NOT hotlink other people's websites. It is considered rude and it wastes their expensive bandwidth.
When Tori releases a new album, please DO NOT post any direct mp3 leaked links on the boards. Send the links privately, but to spare our board from being deleted by proboards and/or Tori herself, please refrain from posting any leaked songs.
Do not sign up to our forum to Spam the board! Spam is an instant Ban from the forum as it is rude and un-called for. This includes, Signing up with the only motive for posting your web site or "plug" of another web site, Pornographic advertisements, Your latest greatest book, scam, merchant sales, or any other motive for signing up. Posting your own Survivor, Tori Amos or Personal web sites are just fine so long as you are an active member of the board and not just signing up to get something out of it in your own personal favor. We do not like to be taken advantage of and we will definitely catch anyone in their tracks doing so.
Spamming members' PM inboxes and/or their e-mail addresses is particularly frowned upon here. DO NOT DO IT.
We hope that everyone can comply to these rules and apply them to this forum out of respect and support for everyone around you. These rules are not here to scare you or give you any thoughts that we are "Mean and harsh" we are very loving gentle people and we place these rules here for the protection of the EVERYONE as we only want this board to be a happy place (with a little kick ass but ssshhh I didn't say that ok?). Now with all of that said Thank you and welcome to 'TORIFORUM'.
Sincerely, TORIFORUM Lovebunch!
