Hey guys & girls - I just got back from Frankfurt, and I had such an amazing time there. First of all - she played "Spark"!!!! Can you believe that? I was saying over in the Whatever-thread that she had promised to play it while in Germany, and then she DID! But first thing's first - here goes the setlist. I loved it.
Original Sinsuality
Father Lucifer
Winter
Blood Roses
Liquid Diamonds
Barons Of Suburbia
Bells For Her
Piano Man (Billy Joel cover)
Somewhere Over The Rainbow
Your Cloud
Sleeps With Butterflies
Space Dog
Carbon
The Beekeeper
1st Encore
Spark
Never Seen Blue
2nd Encore
Tear In Your Hand
Toast
Isn't this setlist spectacular? Really, I was completely struck by it. "Winter" and "Your cloud" brought tears to my eyes (the latter also being from my wish list), "Barons of Suburbia" was extremely powerful, the covers were excellently chosen (and sounded awesome), it was so good to hear and see her perform "Father Lucifer" (including the middle finger, lol) and "Spark" was definitely the biggest surprise of the night. She whispered "This one's for you" before she played the first chords, and we all knew which one it was gonna be...
Tori was in a great mood again. She said that she had a great time playing in Germany "during this heatwave", and that now that she's off to the "land of chocolate" (Switzerland), she'll miss us because according to her we're "among the best audiences in the world". Well, she's right! lol.
She also talked about "Piano Man" quite a lot... that she already played that song as a 13-year-old, together with her father.
What else is there to say - oh, the venue was beautiful (even though Frankfurt is a really ugly city) and the sound was perfect. The audience was great, not as good as in Berlin, though... but that figures... ;-)
I'll be back with a couple of photos...
