As confirmed by the Dent, and by www.mattnathanson.com/ , Matt Nathanson will be opening for Tori during the solo tour portion of her Original Sinsuality tour (for April, at least). This makes sense to me, since Howie Day is one of the artists that he has toured with in the past. One of my friends is a big fan of his, so I may be able to drag him to the show with me. Hehe. Does anyone else here listen to Matt Nathanson?

I'm somewhat familiar with Matt Nathanson--my ex would listen to his stuff sometimes. Anyway, it seems I have retained none of his music that I've heard so I must not have been too blown away.

I saw Matt open for Howie in Grand Rapids. He had an accompanying string bass player. They were both AWESOME!! (Toby Lightman opened before them and she was awesome too.)
He has a great sense of humor and talks a lot between songs. I remember he broke into a Bee Gees cover in the middle of one of his own songs. His own songs range from hilarious to poignant. He will be a great ice-breaker for Tori! By all means, don't be late for the opening act. ;D
