Okay, here's the story... I am deploying in early May and my mother and I wanted to do something together before I leave. I suggested Tori and she said that sounded great.

The day tickets went on sale for the Los Angeles show I had to leave for a class for work in OK. So, my husband called for tickets. We both were upset to find out that he could only purchase one ticket at a time but the person said the tickets were only like a few seats away. Well, that's no big deal.

The tickets came in the mail and I just back yesterday from that class. We found out there are about 75 seats between us as well as 3 rows!

Its at Royce Hall, is there any chance that she and I will be able to sit together?

Anyway, about your question... the seats are numbered and with it being such a small venue and a sold out show I would say it's a pretty safe bet that you won't be able to work out sitting by each other. You might get lucky and find some empty seats near you at the show, but you just never know what it's like until you get there and with this venue I really wouldn't count on getting too lucky, sorry to say.

Royce Hall is very small. Have you been there before? I was a UC student and used to go watch dance productions there. It will be a nice cozy place to see Tori, that's the good thing. The bad thing is that there probably won't be any "floating" space left where you and your mom can find a couple seats to sit together. I suppose that seeing Tori separated is better than not seeing her at all. But I'm sorry that you guys got a raw deal on the seats being so far from each other.

Thanks for replying Mary. I don't know what we're going to do. I love Tori but my mom is really having a hard time with me deploying so, being with her is the most important thing right now.

If we don't go, I'm sure I'll be in LA before I leave, maybe we can have a gtg? I posted a couple pics of myself in the pics thread.

I totally understand about the seating arrangement, though.
And sure, if you don't go we could still find some way to meet up, I think. I saw your pic! The first one wasn't showing for me when I looked earlier. I'll go check again...

(I just realized I'm on my other other user-account, but I'm the same Mary. lol )
