I am running into a bit of an issue with getting to the Wallingford, CT concert... when I bought the ticket I forgot that I would no longer have access to a car.
So I am going to search for a ride this week in hopes that I can find a way to get there (and back).
I could take a train to where-ever would be closest for the driver, and I would certainly pay for gas.
My second option is parking my car somewhere near a train station in CT for a week, so that I have access to it.My last resort is to sell my ticket.  I am really saddened by this, because I had a great seat, had a few friends that I was going to meet up with, and would have gotten to meet Sabsy... but it seems like this is really be my best option after all, because I am low on funds this summer and getting there and back would be a big hassle. Anyway, if anyone from here would like a really good ticket to the Wallingford show, let me know asap and I will promptly pull it from the EBay auction for a ToriForum member.
I can't pull it after there is a bid, so let me know soon or place a bid afterwards.

Sold. I didn't want to let go of the envelope at the post office. LoL. I am SO sad about giving up that ticket. I keep hearing from everyone about how incredible her concerts are at that venue. Heck, I've seen her there twice and would absolutely agree! Plus, as I mentioned I have made some great friends that I know will be there. Oh well. I know that I made the right choice financially, though. And transportation would have been a huge hassle. I probably would have had to skip a day or half-day of work at my new job (when I have one), which wouldn't make a very good impression. Well, at least I am very glad that the ticket is not going to waste. |

Well (now I'm going to sound greedy...  ) I do have a ticket to the Boston concert on the 21st. I am taking a friend with me that has never seen Tori play, so it should be fun. It's just that I would have preferred the CT show because the seat location was much better and she is known to have excellent concerts there. Most of all, I was just looking forward to meeting up with a few friends that I hadn't seen in months and the biggest plus is that I would have gotten to meet Sabsy, too! I would have gladly given up my Boston ticket to be at the Wallingford show. Thanks for your post, though, it reminded me that I should be looking forward to Boston instead of dwelling on not being able to get to Wallingford! |

Aw, Lau, I'm so sorry to hear that It's a bit of heartache, isn't it?! I remember feeling yucky about not going to the last concert in Melbourne, which was also the last concert in Aussie, but then I remembered the two amazing concerts I'd attended the weeks before with fellow Torumers  I took my good friend Jodi to the second concert (she's never seen Tori play before either) and Tori played 'Rattlesnakes', which Jodi immediately recognised as 'the Jodi song', lol. It was included on a compilation CD I made for her. I was so glad Tori played it then! Have fun in Boston, petal  |

aww... sorry to hear that! i'm doing pnc in holmdel with my cousin, her first show so she is REALLY excited! i had hoped to do camden too but no $$ and i'm going on vacation a week later... so no chance for a M&G either. sigh. |
