Woohoo! I'm so happy that she is doing meet-n-greets for this leg of the tour. She didn't on the Lottapianos Tour so I was worried and someone said that the heat causes her to not do the meet-n-greets as well but since she did do one on the first Summer of Sin show I'm expecting it to continue hopefully.
My brother and I are going to the August 31st Chicago show! I'm so excited!

How do you find out if there is a Meet-n-Greet in your town??? It's all a game of wait and see. Get to the venue EARLY and you're sure to find other Tori fans waiting outside (not necessarily by the main entrance). One time, I waited for a few hours and then we were told it was too cold for her to do an M&G. So, you really don't know what's going to happen until you go. Come to think of it, maybe it's a good thing that meet and greet was canceled since I ended up going to the ER via ambulance a couple hours after that. I didn't miss much when I was in the ER...man, I would have been pissed if I missed the meet and greet. lol |

o NO!!  I am really bummed about that. You should definitely be able to see her this tour. I don't understand why she is not going to Minneapolis this time. Hell, she went there twice in '02-'03! That Purple Rain show was marvelous; why not keep the good vibes going If there is ever another a Minneapolis M&G, I am sure we will meet each other. I am good too. I have a new life in Denver now and I am much better for it. I get to hike in great mountains and travel a lot. I don't know how it could get much better. Thanks for asking!  |

Yeah, I went to a meet-n-greet in Madison and we waited indoors but then they cancelled it because it was raining...but the thing is, WE WERE INDOORS! That doesn't make any fucking sense. I consider Tori to be the most intelligent person ever so I'm sure she didn't make that ilogical decision but whoever did needs mental help.

This is from the review of the show but it also should be in the meet-n-greet thread: Yesterday was the best friggin' day of my life! Ok, I seriously couldn't go to bed because I was so exicted/anxious about the meet-n-greet that I wanted to attend before the concert. I was absolutely determined and trying to stay as optimistic as possible that my brother, Andy and I would meet her and get a picture taken with her. That was the most important part. See, when we met her in 2002, we forgot to take a picture, but I thought this one would be even better because I'm a much bigger fan now. When we got there we found other Ears with Feet. When we got there, some woman came up to us and wrote numbers on our hands. I had no idea what that was but then my brother told me that they're trying to have us meet Tori in order of our numbers and most of the time, she only meets about 20 people so we were pissed that we got 33 and 34. While we were waiting, we took pictures by the stage (it was outdoors so we could see it):   We sat for hours in the hot sun until finally they announced that we need to start lining up. My brother and I were determined to meet her so we snuck further up in the line but unfortunately it didn't work and we were sent back further. Then the security people said that we were switching locations. My brother and I held hands and rushed for the gate just to find that the OTHER gate was the one she was gonna be at. So we started thinking, "This isn't looking good." She came out and we kind of saw her. My brother took pictures but I couldn't really see her a lot because of all the tall people infront of me.  Amazingly, people started moving back after they got their pictures or signed things or whatever and the line started getting less and less and my brother and I started moving up closer.  Things were starting to get better and better and then a couple infront of us were trying to take a picture with Tori but they couldn't get someone to work their camera right so my brother jumped in and said, "I'll take it for you and send it to you." and then that's exactly what happened.  After they went, I walked up to Tori and I was in tears and crying because I was so overwhelmed that this was really gonna happen. I said, "Hi Tori." with my crying voice and asked if I could hug her and while I was hugging her she said, "What's your name?" and I said, "My name is Julie." and then my brother said, "We're brother and sister." and then I said, "Can I take a picture with you?" and she said, "Sure." and then Andy took the picture.  After that Tori said, "Let's get your brother - he was so helpful with the camera." and then I took their picture.  After that my brother requested that she play "Indian Summer" and I requested that she play "Bells For Her" and she wrote it down. Then Andy and I made our way back and he was shaking and I was just bawling and it was just so overwhelming because it was all in chance really.  |
