it was such a magnificent night! first of all, she looked wonderful, in both "costumes", she was glittering all over, lol. second of all, the sound was stellar! a lot better than on the last tour and her voice was absolutely clear... i could hear every breath she took and everything she whispered.

and i loved that she was with the band. i had only seen her solo before - which was great, definitely - but with the band, it just kicked even more, you know.

as far as the setlist is concerned - i was so happy to hear "cornflake girl" and "precious things" which i was craving to hear live. and then there was this powerful "code red" and there was "dragon" (which now i love), the beautiful "cooling".. and so many religious-themed songs (maybe she really dd think the pope would come). great setlist.

i brought a non-fan along and she was immediately hooked! i love it when that happens.

and rome is such a beautiful city. such a pity i won´t get to see any other concert on this tour. she should change her mind and come to lisbon still... ;D
