 Dear Toriforum bunch,
Sean and I will be unplugging the Christmas lights, bundling the kiddies into the car, and heading out into the stormy weather, over a river and through some woods (not necessarily in that order) to visit his family up in the Bay area and celebrate the New Year there.
We will return next week. So be good!

So, I bought a house yesterday... ...technically speaking, I *committed* to buying a house. It's not mine until I pay the full price in February, but having done a 10% deposit I'm locked into the deal.  Congratulations Trevor!! Even the boingys are happy for you! (I know you like them) That's huge. I'm very happy for you. You'll have to show us pics and things eventually ts ts! Just make sure you get your federal grant!! (I better not tell you that we get $5000 state grant from Bracksy. Though, it'll probably disappear by the time I get my um....ahem! into gear!) *cheers* |

Just because I'm pretty damn proud of myself: In the past 2 days I've managed to find a huge teacher recruitment fair in my area (in April), send out 11 resumes, and also write the most kick-butt cover letter for a separate job listing. Yay for getting my life back on the track I want it to be on! Also, I hope everyone has a truly wonderful next week. I'll be gone from Tues. 2/22-Sun. 2/27, so I'll miss my bossday and the chat   But have an excellent time listening to The Beekeeper, and post the transcript! Much love to all, *Kiera* |

If all continues to go smoothly, in a few hours I should be sleeping in my new bed in my new house.
Plenty of mess to clean up at both ends still, but I will be IN.
...another 3-4 days for a web connection though.
