I got The Devil Wears Prada from my cousin. I had wanted to read it, but I have to admit, my interest in it was considerably dampened by Carly's opinion of it. If my memory serves me correctly, I think she described it as "poorly written, mind numbing drivel". lol. I trust her opinion explicitly, so I wasn't expecting too much from the book.
Well, I've started reading it, and it's O.K. I'll probably finish it. There's certainly nothing profound about it. I saw the movie and had the same reaction, but I didn't mind the movie because Meryl Streep rocks and the clothes were fun to look at.
