Hollister Classic Val Short (Brown, $34.50).002. AE Camo Beach Clog (Size 7, $24.95). I must of bought the last pair, because they took the item off the website after I purchased it. Okay, now your turn!

Nice shorts! My recent buys haven't been anywhere near as exciting as new clothes. Today I bought bananas, apples, mandarins, soy milk, tomato puree and toothpaste. Woooo...hooo... Although a copy of the new Herbivore magazine arrived in my letterbox today.. I paid for it last week but so what? lol (and they sent me freebies! postcards and buttons oh joy)

he hee... obviously my kinda thread... I just recently got some money for working real hard so of course I gotta go and spend it all right a way... right? Today I finally got the sports sandals I have been looking for a long time... these are the ones I was happy with, Ecco receptor (79.90 euros on sale) [the direct link didn't work so if anyone's real interested you can find the pic under women's offroad Andes the beige ones] Last week I finally went and ordered myself prescription sunglasses (gonna be 99 e), probably gonna get them next week... I have also been recently going often to the second hand shops and buying loads of t-shirts to reconstruct, it's so much fun! (where I went they sell clothes for 4 euros per kilo! My t-shirts were thus about 50 cents each) I finally got Imogen Heap I megaphone... (15 dollars including shipping from Brazilian ebay seller) and the latest Egotrippi (10 euros)(Finnish)...

Today I bought:
- Frozen dinners for lunch - Gummi airplanes for snacking on (I'm on this kick where I eat small meals and snack throughout the day, I'm actually losing weight with it, go science!)
Large purchases of recent note: - New Super Mario Bros (Nintendo DS)
And you don't know how happy I am with myself to not be able to think of another recent large purchase. I'm surprised, but it's a good thing.

Yesterday's purchases:
Neko Case - Blacklisted (Best Buy, $14.99) The Pixies - Dolittle (Best Buy, $9.99)
I wanted to buy more CD's, but I usually get carried away at Best Buy and wanted my total to be less than $50.00, so I just coached myself up to the check-out line.

Just yesterday I bought me some great boots from www.veganwares.com/ - the ones I got aren't featured on the site, but they're a long leg, flat heel, zip up boot and I've ordered to have delightful red stitching. I had them 'specially fitted to my foot and leg (as I have Oompa Loompa sized feet) and so I can totally justify the cost - $300. I can sleep well knowing no animals were harmed in the making of my wonderful boots AND they're going to look and feel bonza! But now I'm looking at your boots and thinking, "If I give up wine for a month I could probably get me some o' those too!" Nice choice.

Aims, I can totally see you in those boots!! Hee hee:) Oi, Mildred! You better send me a pic of your new boots when they arrive, missy Well, my co-worker Brighid and I spent the day in Tokyo yesterday. Specifically, the shopping mecca Shibuya. So of course I bought stuff: From Tower Records: Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro. I was desperate for an English language novel, and I finally settled on this one. Brighid also bought the latest Haruki Murakami which I am dying to borrow. The latest issues of Rolling Stone and Q magazines. From the the Print Club stand: Five sets of pics including this one, which we were able to have emailed: It was lots of crazy, cute Japanese fun ;D From the convenience store in Tokyo station: 'Kiki-cha' - a delightful mix of oolong and jasmine tea in a pretty bottle. A chocolate Aero bar.

Yeah you're right - they're totally worth the price! I can usually justify anything though. And my sister helped out the other day by saying "those boots will last so long you'll probably still be wearing them when you're 50". (edit: omg Rosa flashback!)(also, those steel toes will come in handy at concerts!)

Sorry, to stop hijacking.... Went shopping yesterday and bought some new tops, socks, hand cream, foot scrub/lotion and a little sharpener for eyeliner pencils etc. The hand cream and foot stuff is so cute though. It's from Innoxa and on the back the directions for use are quite amusing. This is what the hand cream says: Simple Instructions: 1. Treat your hands with respect. After all, you use them to touch, create, express, hold, caress, and pray. 2. Wash them with comforting liquid soap. 3. Dry them with the softest towel. 4. Moisturise them by gently smoothing Comforting Hand Cream into your hands. 5. Admire them because they are unique, they're beautiful and they are yours!
