Hrm, I shouldn't have, but I splurged big-time yesterday and finally upgraded my graphics card. The clincher was finding one on sale for $50 off, the same one that I'd been eyeing for around a year now. $50 is too much to say no.
So, I got...
- ATI Radeon X1300 Graphics Card, $89.99 - Half-life Anthology, $19.99 - Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind: Game of the Year Edition, $19.99 - Final Fantasy XI: The Vana'diel Collection, $19.99
Total was about $160 with tax but I've been meaning to do this for years, and that sale was the impetus I was looking for.

I bought t-shirts with 10 euros from the second hand... I got 11 shirts and now I just have to reconstruct them... I am planning to make some for sale... or something, not for me anyways. Already ran into trouble with this plan as I made one small one that doesn't fit me and I have no idea if it looks good or not cause I have no one to try it on when I can't do it myself... EDIT: I wish I had my camera cause I also made one for myself, just stencilled Angry Angel in front and a huge i in the back and sewed on text "Imogen" it's lovely you ought to see it!

Tanja, I would LOVE to see your creations!! We need to get you a camera, girl! What colours were the shirts that you bought? Yay, for the Immi love, too I bought some Honeysuckle incense, more candles, a pair of Levi jeans for ¥5,000 (around AUD$60) and a new quilt cover set. I spent way too much money today.

Yay, for the Immi love, too Yeah, I guess you all have to wait till September when Henry's back with our camera and he can take the pics, after all, if I had it I couldn't pose in the photos and take them myself anyways... I could always just use the old fashioned one and have the pics scanned but too lazy to do that... and the colors for the shirts were various, blue, white (three: one with NKOTB print!), red, purple, striped...

Today I went to the fabric store to get some black thread as I was running out... They just happened to have a summer sale. One of the offers was as much fabrics one could shove into a plastic bag for 5 euros! I went crazy! I got everything that was half decent and could fit in the bag, in the end I had 4 kilos (8.8 Lbs) of fabrics, that is 30 pieces of cloth in different sizes, colors, prints, textures... Now I just have to come up what to make out of them all.

My weekend was a little bit shopaholic. Saturday was at the regular 'mall' and while I did do my proper shopping - birthday presents for my nephew (5) and grandmother (85), I also bought my self a new jacket (nice and cozy and unlike my suede one, it will survive English winter drizzle) and two long-sleeve t-shirts. Then I went and bought the new Something For Kate album. So I spent more on me than on the people I was getting presents for. One Sunday a month there are markets right near my house, and I FINALLY got to them this time. I came home with a new tie and various bits of food - lemon&citrus jam, plum&port sauce and eggplant relish.

Thanks Aims, now I don't feel so bad. All I bought was a pack of smokes. Yum, and some ice-cream.

don't know if this counts, especially as I already paid the 40 euros for it a couple of weeks ago, but today I picked up my new passport, valid for the next 10 years. They are gonna chance the passport system here in August so that you have those biometric (though there's nothing bio about them, their just gonna have your pic and info on a chip) passports, they're only valid for 5 years so I went and got myself the old fashioned one while I still could... plus my passport was gonna expire April next year anyways, so not a moment too soon.

Oooh they ROCK!! Yep, money well spent I'd say I have to admit, I haven't worn my new boots yet... I want my sister to wear them in with her big "never get blisters!" feet first lol.

A new top. Black, knitted... got sparkly bits in it but not in a bad way. One of those random "ooh that shop's having a sale let's have a quick squiz" moments that happen when you weren't even there to shop in the first place. All good.
