My last proper day in Sydney was way fun
Trevor and I got to the Opera House around... 2.30/3?? can't remember really. But there were a fair amount of people there, we ended up numbers 26 and 27. Met up with some other people I knew from another forum, a couple of familiar faces from the Melbourne meet and greets and the usual random friendly new people. It made the wait really easy because she came out kinda late that afternoon.

But yeah, finally she did come out and it was my turn so yay. I gave her my tour program to sign, on the page near the back that has the first promo photo (in front of the house, etc..). When I started telling her how to spell my name she was like "oh, I know you!" ... hehehe. So I told her I was going home the next day and this would be my last concert - she said again she was glad I'd come over for it all etc.. Needless to say I was on a bit of a Tori high the rest of the afternoon, sorta chuffed that she remembered who I was.
I just held the camera out in front of us and took that photo myself. I like how photos turn out when taken that way and decided for my last ever opportunity at having a photo with her I'd give it a try
I also got some lovely photos of Trevor with her, but have emailed them to him so he can post them when he's ready. He had a very interesting little chat with her which I'll let him explain too!
Considering the meet and greet ended up sorta lateish, Trevor and I had to do a bit of a mad dash back to the hotel, get ready and then get some dinner before going back out there.
I took these pics on our way out after the meet and greet..
It was really pretty at the time because the sun was setting so the sky was turning all pink etc. Made me feel all touristy and had to whip the camera out
Anyway, we made it back to the Opera House with about 25 mins to spare, so yaaay.

Hey Jupiter
Aaaaahhhh PIP!! She was so angsty and fabulous. I was so hoping we'd get her because I wanted to hear Cruel or Smokey Joe, and she gave us both! The perfect end to a bloody good week. After The Waitress (which rocked) she got up, flipped off the audience and stormed off stage... hahahaha.. oh yeah, good times.
Btw, you can see some amazing Pip photos from the show here
* to quote the friend I copied/pasted this from (including the shot of Pip): "It had a Me and You lyric in the chorus, but wasn't that song Me and You. Had a chorus, verses...not an improv in our opinion. It had the words " At 9:49pm I will be finally free of him." I think Tracey has more lyrics. She can edit this when she comes back online. "
And I have to admit I had a little bit of a cry during Hey Jupiter ... partly because that song just does that to me (it did in Melbourne too) but also because that was possibly my last time ever seeing her live. What a perfect way to end it though #88#
