didn't you just contradict yourself?
and I think in some ways she did, and some ways not. so really, she's straddling the shark. which sounds about right for her.

doesn't it make a fab impression when someone's very first two posts are to criticize? yummy. and i don't see how this album would fall into the "jumping the shark" category. whether you think it sucks or not, it's coming out 2 years after her latest, it tackles the same things she always sings about, there's nothing ludicrous or ridiculous about it... so to answer your question, no. and it's a good album. could be better, but it's still way superior to 99% of the records released this past year.
