Hey people! I'm writing a term paper about Tori Amos and gender issues! I'm basing my notion of gender on Simone de Beauvoir! And I got in my mind that somewhere, supposedly in her lyrics, Tori has mentioned Beauvoir! okay, I know, it's in "Rattlesnakes", but that song is not written by Tori. So, can you PLEASE help me - wasn't there another genuine-TORI-song, too where Simone de Beauvoir is mentioned. Or was it somewhere in her comments or interviews once? So, PLEASE, if anyone of you has ANY idea about this, or where I could find answers (maybe a database of her lyrics where I could search fo the name, or, I don't know ANYTHING). Anybody? PLeeease, it's urgent! I'm happy about any kind of answer, many many thanks in advance to you!!

Hello, did you find anything in the end ? I'm also looking for information because I'm working on Tori's songs for what is called in French a "mémoire" (academic paper). I was wondering where I could find Tori's quotations about Simone de Beauvoir or even other feminists since she actually says she "was born a feminist" (which I think is quite the opposite of De Beauvoir's "One is not born woman, one becomes woman"). Anyone knows about this ?
