Yes, I can remember "Man Child" and "seven seconds", this one she did with an african singer, but I canĀ“t remember his name. It was a great hit here.

YES!! That was exactly the one I was going to post, too! Hehe, that was great Right on DaturaFae! I was trying to get my friends to remember POPULAR the other day but nobody could. It was played so much on MTV it was ridiculous but I still love that song! For everyone's viewing pleasure, I'm going to paste the best part of the song (it's at the very end): I propose we support a one month limit on going steady I think It will keep you both more able to deal with weird situations And get to know more people I think if you're ready to go out with Jonny Now's the time to tell him about your one month limit He wont mind he'll apreciate your fresh look on dating And once you've dated someone else you can date him again I'm sure he'll like it Everyone will appreciate it You're so novel what a good idea You can keep you time to your self You don't need date insurance You can go out with whoever you want to Every boy, every boy, in the whole world could be yours If you'll just listen to my plan THE TEENAGE GUIDE TO POPULARITY

1. Seven seconds was Neneh Cherry and Youssou N'Dour (I hope I spelt his name right!)
2. Oh man, Dead or Alive! I bought that album because of several songs I'd heard, although 'You Spin Me Round' was the only real hit. Only problem was most of the other songs were different versions on the album from the singles, and they weren't as good. 'You Spin Me Round' was at the start of the tape and it's probably the only track I've played on the album in the last decade.
3. BIG Thumbs up to 'Groove is in the Heart'. Slightly smaller thumbs up to 'What's Up' by 4 Non-blondes as well.
4. Um, anyone remember 'Pop Music' by M? Huge 80s hit, very irritating song, never heard from again.

Haha! I totally remember POP MUSIC! Are there any other lyrics in the song other than "pop music" That's all I can remember - the annoying synthesized voice repeating that over and over again.

Like I said, 'one hit wonder' depends on where you come from. Savage Garden was about a six hit wonder in their home country. Except I thought several of their songs made the top 10 in USA? Oh well never mind... Tonight while stuck in a traffic jam I heard "99 Luft Balloons" by a German group called Nena. MAJOR FLASHBACK! One of the few songs in a foreign language to be a big hit, even it was somewhere in the mid-80s.
