Paula Cole was sort of a one hit wonder too, her last album after This Fire was a flop and it sucked.

I don't really consider Veruca Salt one-hit wonders. They had Seether and Volcano Girls, too!

Get this, a few years ago my 8 year old daughter discovered the movie Charlie & the Chocolate Factory (we got the dvd) & she said Hey Mom, the bratty girl is named after that group that sings, Veruca Salt!!! LOL! i cracked up & said, No, honey, it's the other way around!

Aw, that's such a cute story! Now that we're on the topic of Veruca Salt, I wonder where Nina Gordon went. She went solo and "Tonight And The Rest Of My Life" was a gorgeous song! She just fell off the face of the earth!

Paula Cole was sort of a one hit wonder too, her last album after This Fire was a flop and it sucked. A flop, yes. Sucked, no! (dammit, none of the current smilies have that particular shocked expression I want to convey) Well, a couple of songs did, but "Be Somebody" is a great song. Um, favourite songs is in another part of the forum by the way
