You guys have to download this: hereinmyhead.oneway.com/122102_GoldDust.mp3It's an MP3 of 'Gold Dust' In San Fransisco. It's the show the day after I went so it's not the show I went to. But you have to download it. In the end of the song someone yells out "Silent All These Years" and Tori says back "Fuck You!" and everyone starts laughing, but it's soooo cool. You can't get the full effect until you download it. Why do you suppose she said "Fuck You" to the girl? LOL Maybe she doesn't like being interrupted or something. Who knows! The whole song is so neat! Haullie

I was at that concert... and what happened was it was a really nice moment going and she was singing beautifully and then it's "silent all these years!" "FUCK YOU!"
she was having a moment in that song.

Yeah.. I wouldn't want to be interrupted... I've got an mp3 of Tori screaming at an audience member to "Just FUCKING SIT DOWN" in the middle of her playing Waitress. Was downright hilarious, if you ask me.

I just don't understand how people can be so rude!
And why do people feel the need to yell "I love you Tori" right in the middle of a song? Of course you love her.....that's why you are there & so are we....and we want to hear HER, not you!! Grrr!

i hate when people do that shit! when i went to see her during the choirgirl tour, this girl behind me kept trying to sing like tori right in my ear and i was so mad cause it was drowning out the beautiful sound i came to hear... anyway, i kept stepping on her "accidentally" and flinging my long hair in her face and when tori played "waitress" this girl kept screaming the "bitch" part right in my ear...
that girl pissed me off...

Hehe, that is so cool. I would be sad if Tori yelled "Fuck You" at me though, LOL .... however, chances are Tori was just kidding around when she said that. This one time my friend yelled out "I love you Tori" when it got all silent and Toir yelled back "I love you too", I was so jealous. LOL!

Frances, she did that to some guy in St.Louis, it was really cool! I would probally walk out of the show if Tori cussed me out, just because I would be too embarassed to stay at the show, that wouldn't happen though, I have respect for Tori and I don't interupt her! ;D

Even at home I used to resent it if my sister decided to sing along, because it wasn't her I wanted to hear! So you can imagine what will happen if I EVER get to hear Tori live and I get some singalong teenager right next to me... I heard about the Gold Dust thing on The Dent. From how it was described, the person chose THE most inappropriate moment to call out - basically at the emotional climax of the song. Not only is that rude, it shows an amazing lack of musical judgement. I didn't think Tori attracted people like that

yeah, it's certainly a different situation if it's just quiet for a moment and you scream "i love you" or something, but not when she's singing!!! that's so funny that tori yelled! gotta love her!

I have an MP3 of The Waitress live, and some lady was pissing her off, and she was like "JUST FUCKING SIT DOWN, HEY LADY IN THE WHITE SHIRT, DO YOU FUCKING MIND, FOR FIVE SECONDS, FOR FIVE FUCKING SECONDS!" I was laughing my ass off! You can download it from this website! never.inmyhead.net

that's so hilarious!! why do people who go to tori shows think they can sing like her and yell and scream and try to be heard when we all paid good money and want very badly to see and hear TORI?
maybe this thread and those "fuck you's" will teach a few people!

You know, when I perform (which is once in a blue moon) I'm so busy concentrating that I never really notice what anyone in the audience is doing. I certainly don't have the guts to actually LOOK at the audience!
One time when I was playing piano in a competition someone forgot to take the phone off the hook at the back of the hall, and it rang right in the middle of a fairly quite part of the piece. People were impressed that I'd carried on without getting distracted, but only one small part of my brain had actually registered that the phone rang. The rest of me was too busy!

you're brave. i could never perform in front of people, it makes me shake and forget what i'm doing. well, these days anyway. i used to dance and never seemed to have a problem with it... hmmmm...
next time something like that happens, if it distracts you just take a page out of tori's book and yell at the sob's! lol! okay, that's probably not for everyone.
