I Think I'm Gonna See Tori In Concert!

Well I had a golden opportunity to see her when the tour first began on November 7th at Tampa... but then I had an unmissable class the morning after, and so I was denied!

But tonight I just found out there's a SECOND LEG of the tour! And that February 21st she'll be in Jacksonville!

Now, I've never been to a concert in my life and I don't have a car... but my best friend/roommate has offered to drive me! He hates Tori, but he says he loves going to concerts, any concert...

So, baring horrendously expensive tickets (they go on sale tomorrow! what a frickin' coincidence!!!), I'm going to my first ever concert to see TORI!

bumblebee is right, NOTHING will ever compare to it. i just went to my first tori show in november in connecticut. and i'm hoping to catch her in albany with my 2 friends who have never seen her!

Hmm, ticket prices are $27 and $37... which is ten bucks cheaper than the Tampa ones!

I take it paying the extra ten is worth it to be that much closer to Her Pixie Goddess?

Well this is the day of the internet presales but you need a password... and when I hit help, it takes me to Tori's site. Is this some top secret Tori fanbase thing or something? I'm looking through Scarlet's Web with my Scarlet's Walk Limited Ed CD in the computer but I'm not finding anything...

Do you get e-mails from Toriamos.com? Cause that's where I got my password for the presales for the first leg of the tour...

your best bet would be to buy the tickets from ticketmaster (or who ever is selling the tickets for that oarticular show), i've heard alot of people say that they've gotten better tickets that way than through the presale. and i can say that i did the presale all day, and not one good ticket came up, ever. good luck. and i think the password is 'pancake'.

raisingrrl is right about 2 things:
** the password IS pancake &
** the password is a moot point, b/c presales are NOT good! You can get waaay better seats directly thru ticketmaster or whoever is selling.

i got the same email that bluegirl mentioned from toriamos.com/epic records.

Mr light, I'll forward you the email I got....

the password thing is designed so that only 'true' Tori fans have first crack at presales, but as already mentioned most people get better seats w/out doing the presale thing.

when you go to toriamos.com, a little window will popup asking if you want to join a mailing list, just say 'ok', and sign up, that's how you get the password.

i'm going to jcpenny's to get tickets for the show. i did the presale and all it gots me was some crappy backrow nosebleed seats. bah. lol

they charge you an extra 8 bucks regardless of whether you order it online or not. it's what they call a'service charge', you know, for handing you the tickets. good golly handing tickets to people must be some hard work. for an extra 8 bucks they better be delivering! lol

Well the first ticket pair I came up with (one for me, one for me roommate/friend who is driving me) was halfway back on the floor, slightly off-center. Is that good?

And these Presales are ON Ticketmaster, who is the default ticket seller.

they sell they shitty seats first... at least that's what i gathered from it. they go from in the back back, to half way up to the front...
