@mary - thats terrible! let me guess: they dissed and boo'd the support/ opening band too? (morons generally do that at concerts as I'm sure you know)
I've been in some pretty bad audiences but none as bad as that!

Argghhh Mary that sucks all kindsa arse.
It especially saddens me that Ali had to put up with that at her first Tori concert, which no doubt was something she'd been looking forward to for years.
(lol I just had a funny mental image of what it would've looked like if that'd happened to ME at my first Tori concert.. it involves Hels, Trevor and I trying to beat people with our shoes..... eek...)

And Mary: ugh, I was fuming when I read your concert description. I hate people who come anywhere to just be a terrible nuisance to others and then when they are being told about it they think that it's you who is at fault. And what the hell is the point in them coming there: do they just have extra money to spend on buying a ticket to a concert they're not interested in?
Poor Ali :/ Hope she'll have some good memories of the concert anyway.

ROFLMAO! This was made even funnier to me because I went ahead and imagined you three all as 10-year-olds! Hahaha! Jenni, I'm writing up a play-by-play of the night. I got 2/3 of the way through it yesterday and I'll finish it today. I just re-read what I had typed so far and I'm at a point now where I can laugh about it a little rather than get so angry. But yeah, it was horrible the way those people were behaving. It was like my head was in 2 places at once because Tori was SO wonderful and played such a great setlist, and I was really TRYING to pay attention to her. But I HAD to focus on the stupid drunk people because I was worried they'd do something really stupid and possibly violent, too. It was just ughgggh. Anyway, thanks everyone for joining me in my pity party. I hope my next Tori show (in '07? possibly with Trevor here? lol) will find me among a crowd of better behaved human beings. |

Oh, Maz, what a yucky thing to read here and a hugely sucky thing for you to have experienced  God, any wonder you got so mad!  I was thinking of poor Ali, too. (Maybe it'll put her off drinking to excess for a bit longer?!)  Anyway, petal, it's good that you had some nice moments too, and that you can laugh about it slowly. Next time Trevor, Aims and I will be coming along with you and, just in case, our killer heels and.....and some killer Vegemite we'll use ever so creatively |
