I read She's Come Undone by Wally Lamb and it was so beautifully written and sad and overcoming...whew! It's on Tori's list at yessaid.com and I was interested immediately when I saw the cover to tell you the truth. But anyways, you are going through the life of a woman from age 4 to 40 and you get quite connecting to a person if you've spent that much time in their life. It's a truly interesting and psychological book that you can real analyze and love. When I was done reading it, I held it tight against my heart because it touched me so much.
I just finished I Was A Teenage Fairy by Francesca Lia Block and it was so fun to read. The relationships that develops between the 2 main characters, Barbie/Selena Moon and Mab are really interesting to read into. It gives you the thought that you should really start believing in fairies as creatures that are in your everyday life.

I've read Echo, Wasteland, and her book of Modernized Fairytales... it's amazing she writes very poetically in those three books... although I know the Teenage Fairy book is written a bit differentely (my other friend that's a fan of hers just read it) I advise you to read those books if you get the chance... they're beautiful...

Which is by far the best book I've read.

Just finished Greg Bear's "Dead Lines", which was just great. A horror-ish story about a guy who starts seeing ghosts from his past as soon as he gets his hands on a new type of a cell phone.
I think I'll reread Donna Tartt's "Secret History" on the plane tomorrow.

P.S. been meaning to say... your icon rocks - I'm currently reading that very Sandman book!! When I got to that part the other night I was like "hang on, where have I seen that?"

Um, anyway............ I gave that James Herbert book the flick (just can't get into it, or maybe am unwilling coz he's freaked me out too badly in the past...?) and now I'm reading all about the scandalous Mr David Bowie "Backstage Passes - Life on the Wild Side with David Bowie" by Angela Bowie and Patrick Carr.

I'm reading The Pact by Jodi Picoult... it's reeeeaaallllyyy good so far...
It's about a suicide pact... I'd reccomend it to anyone...
The funny thing is... is that it's a summer reading book for school but it's totally inappropiate for school... it has sex and violence (not too much in excess) but still... I like it

Thanks for pointing out your comments on the previous page--I completely missed yours and Mary's. I would love to read The Virgin Suicides since I was blown away by the movie...but I don't think that would be a good book for me to read at the moment. I haven't read The Other Boleyn Girl, but I have read The Book of Ruth which I absolutely adored and it persuaded me to read a couple other books by Jane Hamilton, too. You should read Map of the World if you haven't already.
