so were we all, obviously. but then the coach sold us out to France for a rather hefty sum of money and that fiasco happened. oh well, all good things come to those who wait, right? meanwhile, the score was 4x0 us, just in case you haven't heard.... #19#

I have to work tomorrow morning, so I really should go to bed, but if I go to bed I know I'll lie awake forever..... I'm just not into any more torture today. I'd rather be sleep deprived.

Replace "work" with "go to an appointment" and you stole the words right out of my mouth. I couldn't care less about sleep deprivation at this point.

So I'm listening to that stunning Alex Lloyd Acoustic Tour disc you sent me ages ago, Helen, (currently he's flubbing on 'My Friend') and it made me wonder... Do you or Trevor (or anyone) have the new Alex Lloyd album yet?! It's on my wishlist. Ohh, shhh... my favorite song is starting... I feeel liiiike thisss on my waaaay hooo-home... ♪ You can tell I haven't been here a while - delayed reaction. I've kind of lost interest in Alex. His last two albums have sounded so mainstream and dull compared to the earlier stuff. I listened to the new one in the shop and apart from 'We were never meant to fail' which is the first single, it all sounded the same. There's an acoustic version My Way Home on the "Live from the Panel" CDs where I got Ben Folds and paulmac from for my collection. It's amazingly intense and sounds completely different from the studio version.

I'm so in love with the whole album, I could marry it. Well, there aren't any other contenders! #34# What about the guy at the store in the black t-shirt? How's that going?

Trevor!!!!You big ol' lurky McLurkison!! Yeah, no luck yet. LOL, one of my students actually told me, 'No, no, no! Go for KOREAN men. Japanese men are unkind!!' One is very perplexed... I think one needs more beer for a start!

Yay, matzy!!! Congrats! I never used to be interested in soccer, but when I was Japan for the World Cup in 2002, soccer fever was contagious. Australia wasn't playing then, so I was supporting Japan. It was quite a rush! Of course now, I'm in a bind cos Australia made it to the Cup, and their first game happens to be with JAPAN! There's so much cool 'Samurai Blue' merchandise, too! It'll be an interesting game, anyway

Wow, I've never heard/seen such a thing! Nature is continually wondrous. This morning I woke up at 4-something, as the sunrise was happening right outside my window, and its colours were so vivid. The sky was such a pretty blue, too and I had to take a photo. Then, I get an email from my boss saying she'd seen Mt Fuji so clearly from the shinkansen (bullet train) and attached her photo of it. And all I can think about is how the sky turns to fire against the telephone wires...
