I haven't been on the computer much at all recently, but I wanted to pop in and say "HELLO!" to all of my wonderful Torum friends. Um, I'm trying to think of new news for everyone, lol. OK, I think I have some: ~Kevin is doing amazing things. he's eating/drinking more now. And he's getting more active. His new favorite thing to do is play with his feet! You have to kind of hold them up for him, but this HUGE progress! ~Jade and Arianna are getting so big. I really wish they'd just stop growing, hahaha. but they're both doing so well, and they're amazing! ~Sometime in the next 5 weeks I'll be giving birth!!!! And if I didn't tell you yet, we're POSITIVE we're having a little girl. Her name will be Brigid Sage. ~I'm getting my van back on the road!!!!!!!! It's been almost a year since I've been able to drive it (the engine threw a rod, making it dead). ~We're going to be moving to North Carolina! We're hoping for September, but hubby needs to have a job first, so I will let you know for sure when that happens!
That's all for now. I'll try to pop in at least once a week, just to say hi and read, but I can't guarentee it. Things have just gotten so hectic around here, making getting online a huge task some days.
Love and miss everyone!!!!!!

Sam!It's wonderful to see an update from you. I've been incredibly absent at lj for months. Sounds like lots of good news. As I've mentioned before, I love the name that you've chosen for your little girl (though I don't think I knew that the baby was a 'she', yet)! North Carolina?!! Oh my goodness. Wow. Keep us posted!!

hey sam... nice to see you around!
helen, trevor - congratulations on the victory over japan (though i don't know who you were rooting for, helen-san ;-))! i watched the game, and i LOVED it. especially the last 15 minutes, obviously. first australian goal in a world cup, first ausralian victory in a world cup. i thought of you all along.
hope this will now entice you to come visit. i still got some extra beds waiting to be "booked" for the final. :-)

Yeah, it was a truly amazing game. I think my eyes just about popped out of my head in those last minutes! My upstairs neighbours were going mad!!! But you're right - I was feeling a bit torn about who to root for, since it Japan that got me hooked onto soccer in the first place. I was here for the last World Cup, too, which of course was held in Japan. Soccer fever was so catching then, and it was lovely to share in the pride that the Japanese people had for their team. It was quite an emotional time! This time though, I wanted to give my support to Aussie, for mostly the reasons you mentioned above, matzy. The team will be absolutely stoked #18# Plus, it means that I don't have to eat natto! I made a deal with the two American teachers I work with that I'd eat natto if Japan won, and if Australia won, I would make them eat Vegemite this weekend at my house-warming/World Cup party, haha. Natto is quite gross, but it's considered to be very healthy here, despite it being way past the use-by date!! Oh, and I'm so glad you loved Lost In Translation I think the hospital scene will forever crack me up, heh. Wouldn't it be mad for everyone to crash your place for the final!
