^ i knew you had good taste  Helen, the game wasn't as easy as the score made it sound, no. first half was played infinitely better by the Australians. as usual, it's not till pregnant Ronaldo gets sacked off the team that we manage to do something. 2x0 was quite meager in comparison to what we should be doing by now. but don't worry, Australia's gonna classify anyway, i'm most certain of it. |

lmao, i was just reading this horrible, horrible review of Strange Little Girls. most of it is absolute crap, the reviewer obviously biased (i.e. "When the night of the concert arrived, it dawned on me that I really wasn't enjoying her music at all. This revelation came to me during Tori's covers of Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love" and Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit". During both tunes, the audience chuckled to itself, taking in both tunes as novelty items. I just saw Tori completely destroying two great tunes. And that was that." he's talking 1992 here, so obviously he's no great fan - though i agree, her voice-piano covers are mostly very painfully boring) but i read this one bit that i found absolutely hilarious:
of course i thoroughly disagree with it, since Heart Of Gold is my favorite song on that record, but this was sooooooooo damn funny to read nonetheless.
