We're getting a big snow storm here today. On one hand, it's pretty to watch and makes me feel all cozy, but on the other hand: no yoga tonight. That class saves me every week, so it's kind of a bummer. Of course, I do have a mat and a video, so there's no reason why I can't practice on my own. I'm so unmotivated when left to my own devices, though. I should also clean my house today. And paint the picture that's been in my head for awhile. Someone needs to come over here and kick my ass in to gear.  |

I wanna come over, but I don't wanna kick your ass.  I should be doing stuff today, too. But it's all Patty's fault that I'm not getting anything done. I've been listening to past mixes I've made for people and I can't do anything but sit in the middle of my bedroom floor and listen to her today. lol... I'm a huge dork. |

I did get the dishes done and do my yoga.  Aimee, I sympathize about your hairdresser situation. If you can't get on her list, maybe she can refer you to someone who she thinks would do good work on your particular hair type? Such a pain, though, I know, having to get used to someone else. My hairstylist just moved, and she was supposed to send me directions on where it is for my next appt, but she didn't. I do have her cell-phone # to call her so I guess I should do that considering the appt is Wednesday.  Why do people force me to pick up the phone? WHY? |

My sister's going to her place for a haircut tonight, so I'll see what kind of vibe she gets.
This time tomorrow I'll be watching Tool perform. It's just going to be a looooooooooong day sitting around in the sun waiting for them... :\ I wish there were more interesting bands on during the day to keep me amused.

Hehehe... it was around 4am here when you posted that, so I'd already seen them by that stage. But I'm listening to Ænima right now and am very #11# and #17# even though I only got 3 hours sleep. (btw, we got three songs from this album - Stinkfist (which they opened with), 46&2!!!! and aenima... oh man..) And oh yeah! Serj Tankian from System Of A Down came out and did some guest vocals (well, ok.. guest screams) on Sober!!! omg I could cry right now just thinking about it... (I so need to get some more sleep soon) Dunno what he was doing in the country, but I suspect he probably has a house somewhere out West.. rockstars seem to like it here? |

Hi aims! yeah its wednesday of next week when I see tool. so you already saw them? what was the setlist like? Oh are you just going to their concert, and not BDO as well? (which personally I'd prefer anyway.. the bdo crowds sucked) Maynard said they'd be back later on in the year so YAY for that. I heard it as November/December, but other people swear he said September. Either way, as long as they come back it's all good. And yep, the setlist was excellent: Stinkfist The Pot Forty Six & 2 Jambi Schism Rosetta Stoned Sober Lateralus Vicarious Aenema I'm so jealous of you right now. |

yeah I'm not going to BDO. not enough cash, I'm also too broke to see beastie boys and goldfrapp. and you know how much that hurts me. Oh well, on the bright side I'm seeing tool and thats awsome! thats a great setlist. glad to hear they'll be round again, thanks for the heads up!
