hey dears, i'm sorry i haven't written in such a long time - lots of changes have happened in the past couple of weeks: am back in berlin after a spectacular time in portugal. and even though i'm home now.. i feel somewhat lonely. i miss portuguese weather, the food, my portuguese friends... and of course my ex... we decided not to go for a long-distance relationship (god knows i've had enough of those), so i'm single again. oh - i saw rufus wainwright live in concert! it was sooo wonderful - i'm so in love with him now. i even got my cd signed... *swoons* hope everything's great with y'all. kissies!  |

Yesterday I had a job interview and then my grandmother got taken to the ER in an ambulance. (she's O.K) It was a long day. I'm tired, but my insomnia is bad right now. Maybe I should give up coffee and cigarettes. I only smoke like one a day, but it still can't be good for anxiety.

Aims, i'll send you a couple songs. if you like Belle & Sebastian (which i know you do), you'll definitely like them. aaaaggghhhhh do you like belle and sebastian  woohoo a glasgow (my wee home)/scottish band. my friends mum used to play with them been to see them do a live dj set thing too and they played at a festival thing we have in glasgow in the park one summer such a good day. not heard of kings of convenience will have to check them out tho. sons and daughters are also a really good glasgow band too. |

A new guy at work in one of our other branches across the country, rang up the other day and he had the coolest scottish accent. I was like "sorry, how many are you ordering?" so he had to tell me again. Fun times.

Lol aye a dinae ken. I think its strange how people think that i cant stand to hear scottish accents like on tv and stuff, one of my friends calls it cultural cringe. i really like south african accents tho or australian ones a'la home and away.

Do you find that quite often they're fake accents though? I mean, obviously not on the local shows or even ones made in different parts of the UK, but from other places. I'm not Australian, but I cringe so badly at people in tv/movies who aren't Australian but are trying to do the accent and play an Aussie character. You get that on Lost quite a bit, even though they do have two proper Aussies in the cast.. Imagine how many are over in LA trying to get a break who they could just as easily cast in these roles instead of people who butcher the accent. pfft... lol ok rambling. anyway yeah I understand what you mean |

Aimee dude, i know this girl from New Zealand who's been living in Rio for the last 6 months and i swear to GOD i have the roughest time understanding what she says. and i'm no hack when it comes to English, so i do believe your people speak a whole language altogether.

Hey Sabrina, I was reading this book about sensitive people today, and this guy was talking about flower essences, made me think about you. Mostly different colors of Yarrow but some other stuff too. I think I'm going to look some up and try them, they're supposed to be good for "balancing your sensitivity" which sounds just peachy keen.
