Haha yes of course I know all those places. I'd say she might be right about her english going downhill after going to Otago! That place has the potential to kill a lot of braincells.. silly scarfies.

^Your icon is hilarious! Facebook! What have you people started? I'm already addicted. Oh well. In the summer I'll be working so much I won't have time to be a cyber sloth.

Yeah, facebook seems real interesting and stuff when you first get it then after a while it's just like ... blehhhh... Or maybe I just have a crap attention span when it comes to stuff like that. It's a good place to kill time though, those tv trivia things keep me amused for ages.

Or maybe I just have a crap attention span when it comes to stuff like that. I'm with you on that. Plus, my connection is so awful, I can't really go too nuts with it. But, like you said, good for killing time. ;D

I have 2 days off and I really want to see Juno. I would much rather go by myself, but I should probably invite a friend. I have become an utter hermit since the whole moving fiasco. I need to connect with people. But that would involve picking up the phone. And talking. I love my friends, but I always seem drawn to people that have a lot of negative stuff going on, and use me as a bit of a sounding board. This gets so tiring. Wow. TMI? Ah, who cares.

^ I was sposed to see Juno on Friday night but by the end of the day I was all tired and blah and just couldn't be arsed (especially with the extra two people my sister had invited along..) - so I can understand!
Coffee is so disgusting. I'm so zombie-like tired today and forgot to bring any soymilk with me so I couldn't have a proper cup of tea.. so resorted to coffee. Yuckkkkkkkkkkk. The few sips I had before I threw it out have actually made me hungry now too. Suck.

It's a good place to kill time though, those tv trivia things keep me amused for ages. I haven't been here for ages... sorry guys (bet you missed me, huh). But I have been way too much in facebook... you can find me e.g. in Aims's friend list, but then again most of you have already I guess. Those TV trivia and flixter quizzes are a great way of killing time, but I really should stay away... and nowadays it's just full of spammy applications which are really getting annoying... EDIT: so like me, I forgot to say what I came here in the first place for... HAPPY VALENTINE'S EVERYBODY! #82#

Yeah, that lil green patch application is pissing me off most right now. It's a lovely idea in general, but when you receive all those plants from people it takes you to the application each time you accept one... so you have to go back to the main page, back into your notifications and accept the next - with like 10 plants waiting for you this takes forever! arrghh... haha

Oh my god, coffee is my second favorite thing in the world...music being my favorite, of course. I can totally see why people wouldn't like it, though. It's an acquired taste.

I like it if it's good coffee... but the instant crap at work isn't really worth shit so I only drink it when I'm absolutely zombie-like. Tea agrees with me better though - my boss went out and got me a chai latte later and I felt much better hehehehe. And right now I'm drinking normal old tea, it's making my crampy tummy feel better. Even though mum gave the lecture that I should be drinking chamomile or ginger in this situation, but whatever. hahah what a dorky post. I have my driving test on Wednesday morning. If everyone could start putting out the good vibes now that'd be good

Even though mum gave the lecture that I should be drinking chamomile or ginger in this situation, but whatever. lol! That struck me funny for some reason. Good luck with your test. Just remember to breathe! And take some bachs rescue remedy. I have given up coffee twice and it never lasts. It makes me feel human when I wake up. I am a bit of a coffee snob. I like good coffee. This is my current fave. Made locally and fair trade (which I think is very important). wickedjoe.com/java/index.phpI love the quote on there- Coffee should be black as hell, strong as death and sweet as love. -Turkish Proverb/Wicked Joe Philosophy I got a french coffee press for Christmas and I love it. It takes away that bitter, acidic taste you get from drip coffee makers. I like tea, too. I have boxes and boxes. I actually mail tea as presents to people sometimes. lol

Good luck with your test aims . I LOVE tea and i love people's faces when you say you drink herbal tea especially in my work anyways. Really liking fennel and blackberry at the mo. LOL. Quite like coffee too but i find it really raises my anxiety levels not good for panic attacks and especially if it's the good stuff. Yep fair trade's important does my head in when certain coffee places charge extra if you want fair trade!! Why can't they just only serve that?

I can't stand people like that. I guess one benefit of having a b.s. customer service phone job is that you learn very quickly how to express disinterest in a subject of conversation and steer it towards a new one quickly. I mean, I know what it's like and I don't blame people who are that way, but now that I've moved on from that phase of my life and have accepted that being so negative brings other people down, I can't be around them just the same. But I do understand the need to vent all the time, and I feel bad for people who are that miserable. If you look at some of my older stretches on LJ, it gets a bit embarassing, heh.
