The Mars Volta have been catching my attention lately, in a good way. *nod* I don't even feel like I have to download any other songs (only have 3), I'm just gonna go get the new album next time I'm near a music store.

Ok this is nothing new but more like a recurring obsession, and it's full-strength right now. I've been playing this song at ear-bleeding volume, way too many times in a row now. It's good for a bad mood, what can I say? I think it's become my number one song to blast when I'm angry, or frustrated, or anything of the like... Aimee... I always hear "Is my porno working?" instead of "Is my voodoo working?"... LOL

Well, except maybe Unravel[/b], I'm not so sure about that one yet../quote] Oh Jay, when you find that special someone and you're separated for three weeks, it'll hit you like a tonne of Kleenex! A few years ago, my ex and I were holidaying in Australia for Christmas, but at opposite ends, because he's from Cairns and I'm from Melbourne. Anyway, to show me how much he'd been missing me, he sent me a video of Bjork singing 'Unravel' acapella in her studio and left a note asking me to concentrate on the lyrics. I was a complete MESS on the loungeroom floor after that.... It's the most romantic thing anyone's ever done for me. So yes, I'm very sure about my feelings for that song, LOL!!

And oh I think I just hadn't really listened to Pale September[/b] when I posted that, I love it now. I don't think there's a song on the album that I don't like... Though I must say that I'm listening to When The Pawn... now and I think it's still my favorite... I'd say: 1) When The Pawn...2) Tidal3) Extraordinary MachineBut I'm giving Extraordinary Machine time to grow on me. I get the feeling it really will.
