No, not staying for Christmas - because my crazy best friend and his new wife will be flying HERE for Christmas, and having an Australian 'ceremony' on BOXING DAY. So I have to be back for that. Go figure.

Just wanted everyone to know that I will be away from the forum for awhile. Just have some things to deal with, and they need my full focus. But I'll be back

I really love you guys. I've had such a blast here. But it's time for me to exit. I think this place does keep a part of me from growing, even as it overwhelms me in other parts: like the music and the great written exchanges, but overall I just have to try to build connections in the offline world. I still will check my e-mail, but am probably going to be without internet connection for awhile, and I have decided to restrict my internet usage. I actually feel healthy enough to pursue my dreams, so it's exciting, and I can't thank this place enough for helping me get there.

I'll miss you, Sabsy. I wish you the best in everything you do. I know you are stronger than you've ever believed, don't forget that when the harsher moments in life get the best of you.

Sabbers, <3 Wonder if you all still remember me... Anyways, time to announce that things have been going at a terribly fast pace for me: 1) We're moving out of this town next weekend, so it's box box box time! 2) We'll be in the US from 27th December onwards 3) My work (2 jobs currently, but not many hours) start early January. I'm now officially a US resident! So, at least in the beginning I will not be too busy, I hope, so who knows--maybe I'll be hanging out more in these parts. Especially now as the Presidential debates are getting heated up, I might throw some vitriol into the debate section of our own Hugs to all!

ahh jenni! so good to see you around here, good luck with everything. sounds exiting and maybe a bit intimidating. hope all goes well! Definitely intimidating, too! I'm really concerned about my health especially: I love biking (and as you probably know, I don't have any other mode of transport here) but where we are going I see bikers only when they're doing it for a hobby (of course in the city it's a bit different). What if I'll somehow slip into the habit of not biking or walking anywhere anymore? I'll eventually need to buy me a barge and have slave girls dancing in front of me while gobbling down odd frog-like creatures from a bowl...

Unfortunately things didn't go as planned and we're back in Maine. I'm trying to find a job, but haven't yet succeeded. Things are pretty surreal and off-kilter right now. I really missed this place. This is my new username, btw.
