2853. fabulous things in the mailbox!! it's been a couple days and i'd only listened to one of the cds, what, with being sick and all, but now i've just popped in the delicious Martha Wainwright - who i'd never heard before, i swear - and i just love Bleeding All Over You to pieces. that within half of a first listen. Damn, sabsy. *kiss*

2864. Obama came to speak in my town today and we ended up being about 30 yards away from his podium. There were 50,000 people in the crowd, which is more amazing than I can really wrap my head around.

2866. Unbelievable shopping luck. It only resulted in two pairs of pants but you have no idea how hard it is for me to find stuff that fits. THANK FUCK. It's amazing how feeling good about your outfit frees you up to stress about more important things. And now time to leave the grateful thread so I can stress.

Amen to good shopping trips. And I understand your pain in trying to find jeans that fit. It's like an epic quest anytime I go jeans shopping.
Also feel you on that leaving more room for other stress. Gosh, I love to worry, but I'd so rather that finding a pair of jeans were my only worry.

I'm convinced that there isn't another single person on this planet that's shaped like I am... 'cause if any one part fits, the rest don't. And if there were other people shaped like me, you'd think they'd make jeans that fit us, right? Maybe??
Ugh. It's infuriating.

Ugh yes I have that problem too. Even when I was really thin I had trouble finding trousers that fit properly. I want to learn how to sew because of this. Ooh! I forgot about this site www.mejeans.com/index.aspYou take a bunch of detailed measurements of yourself and then they make the jeans for you. It seems a bit pricey but I think for a perfect pair of jeans it'd be worth it. I thought about getting some from there a while ago except I have some weight to lose so figured it'd be a waste of money at the moment.
