^ I didn't find all that much fantasy in Pan's Labyrinth, more propaganda. But I still enjoyed it. xo

I want to see Pan's Labyrinth, but it seems to only be on at this one crappy theatre near-ish me... but it's too far and annoying to get to. Blah. Oh well, will wait for the dvd like always.

I just watched a movie called Strings. It was lovely. I cried for about 30 minutes after the credits finished rolling. It's got marionettes with the most amazing story ever. I highly recommend it. xo

"Amores Perros" (AKA Love's A Bitch / Loves Dogs). Beautiful and meaningful but also extremely cruel movie. People who love dogs may feel very upset during some scenes. The misery of dogs is a mirror of people's own misery... I watched it on DVD. The last movie I have seen in the cinema was "Goya's Ghosts". Nothing special. Milos Forman could have made a better movie. I want so much to go on "Pan's Labyrinth". But I don't have time ('cries')...

I just saw Notes On A Scandal on DVD. SO good and creepy. The acting is magnificent. I love how Cate Blanchett spazzes out on Judi Dench at the end. These two ladies are great together.

^ ooh that sounds good, will have to keep an eye out for it.
I watched about half of Donnie Darko the other night, but was getting really tired so I'll probably finish it tonight. Haven't seen it in years.

I'd like to see Donnie Darko again. I've only seen it once and it was a long time ago.
I can't believe Paulo hasn't commented on my Cate Blanchett post. First he misses my birthday, now this. *sniff*

I KNOW, I KNOW!!!!when she walks out of the house to face the journalists and starts screaming "here i AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!!!!!", she looked like such a fierce animal! i loved it, i loved it! ooh, i'm getting a head rush just thinking about it. is it wrong that i was a little turned on by that? meanwhile, Sabrina, i missed your birthday?? oh my god, throw a Britney Spears cd at me right NOW, i deserve to be caged. so sorry, honeybum!
