I saw A Mighty Heart last night with my friend Heather because we both have lesbian crushes on Angelina Jolie. It was soooo good. It was really sad, even though I knew how it would end anyway. And I was completely creeped out by Angelina having tight curls in her hair and brown eyes.

Thanks, Carly, for digging this thread up. So... on Thu we went to movies to see Blades of Glory... it was semi-hilarious. Some of the critics here have really put it down, others have thought it marvelous, I think it was pretty ok, funny enough to spend 5 euros on it. We also watched Underworld - evolution on DVD yesterday. It was ok, but although I can't really remember the first one that well, I think the first was better. Now that I think of it, nothing much happens in the whole movie...

Oh, yeah. I forgot to mention I also saw Blades of Glory this weekend. I thought it was hilarious. The JFK/Marilyn Monroe skating performance made me bust a gut.

Oh yay for two good reviews, because I'm seeing it on Tuesday The last movie I saw was Casino Royale - only half of it though because I thought it was boring (which sucks because I so wanted to enjoy it.. lol).

The last movie I saw was The Invisible. It was pretty meh, but not in a bad way, just not the kind of movie to wow you, or one you would go out of your way to watch again. For a movie made by the Sixth Sense guy, the big plot twist wasn't really that stunning.
Oh well, it was still better than Disturbia, which didn't have a plot twist. It's pretty much "You know what you think's gonna happen? Yeah, that's gonna happen." That may work in romantic comedies, but it doesn't fly for me in a thriller. Thank god for Shia LaBeouf.

We went to see Tarantino's Deathproof (here they show them separately, which is ok, not too interested in planet terror anyways) yesterday.
I was bit reluctant to go, as what I had read it, it was about a Stuntman Mike killing girls with his car... what a plot. So I thought it would be exactly about that, but how wrong I was.
So I was real happily surprised by it... Stuntman Mike was pretty much a supporting character, the girls were the center of attention and though I'm not a big fan of Tarantino's foot fetish, it was real nice to follow the girls. And the fact that the dialogue was so great made it worth watching and of course the empowered women sort of end to it... I don't remember wathing anything this violent and coming out of the theater smiling.
Oh, and I'm totally a Zoƫ Bell fan now!

Yeah, I wish it was longer too. Maybe it wouldn't have felt quite so rushed. But oh well.. it was great anyway. The big Dumbledore vs. Voldemort bit at the end was soooo cool.

I thought The Guardian was really over-rated. I mean, it was a good movie, but not fantastic or anything.
The last move I watched was 300 on dvd. Not usually my type of movie, but I really enjoyed it.
