and then Out of The Blue was on tv (about the Aramoana massacre in 1990.. which of course none of you will have heard or care about..)

i watched Transformers on video last night. it was ok. some lines were a lot of fun and the special effects were good, but the first screwball comedy half was a lot better than the propagandized world annihilation second half.

I know what you mean, I would have been happy if they just had the transformers in the film and no people. Their voices crack me up, how sad was it when you thought bumblebee was dead? |

I agree on the funny bits in Transformers being good but the rest.. Well anyway, I fell asleep  with my contact lenses still in.. argh. |

i almost cried when i thought bumblebee died. he was my favorite, haha. i hope they make the second film only with robots. an army of bumblebees killing all the humans. that'd rule.  |

heard it was crap. i still wanna see it anyway, Nicole Kidman playing the villain must be good. i watched The Devil Wears Prada (again) a couple nights ago. still every bit as good as i remember. |

[ I understand why Joey put The Shining in the freezer though  I've never been able to get through that, or IT. you know, i never did watch (or read) The Shining. i was so put off by Cape Fear that i didn't bother. IT is horrible, though. both film and book. such a waste of my time. meanwhile, couple nights ago i watched that German film that won the foreign language Oscar this year, The Lives of Others. it's definitely one of my favorite German films ever. ps. i bought the Vanity Fair dvd months ago and have never watched it. should i bother? |
