Haha see I'm the opposite. I LOVE him as Snape. Actually I think a better way of explaining the Sweeny Todd thing is he's just such a good actor that he really made me hate his character? Yeah. So props to Alan.. lol

^ hahah hell yeah
funnily enough, he was in the last movie I saw too! Perfume. (better than I thought it'd be, although I'm very glad I'd read the book before seeing the movie..)
Also watched Eagle vs Shark this weekend. (starring Jemaine Clement from FOTC... aka boy in red shirt in my icon) it was so geekily funny.

it's so unfair Sweeney's not gonna premiere here until end of the month... I will definitely go see it! Last night we watched Mr. Bean's Holiday... it was hilarious, way better than the first movie.

I want to see it, maybe when it's out on video (which I think it is now?)

Although I can see why crap reviewers would do that because some parts of it are very kiwi and they probably don't understand. Watched Superbad yesterday.

i finally watched Juno yesterday and it's so great. more so than Ellen Page, though, who really surprised me was Jennifer Garner. not that i didn't already know she was a great actress (hello, i followed six years of Alias for more than just her yummy cleavage), but she really captured my attention this time around. i never knew she could be so... gentle and restrained. the role suited her perfectly and she added a good amount of drama to the plot. her first scene in sort of makes you think she's gonna be a goofy comic relief but i'm glad it didn't turn out that way. kudos to Jen. acts better than her husband.

oh wow, and i forgot to mention i saw Elizabeth: The Golden Age! how could i?? i loved it. wasn't as interesting as the first in terms of script (and i must admit, grudgingly so, that Cate was so over the top in a scene or two that it made me cringe in my seat - there, i just died a little after saying that), but the visual effects and the costumes were just so beautiful. plus, the glass pane picture of Cate... i want that!!!

Well, I saw Juno, and I think I'm the only one who didn't love it. It was a good movie, but not as good as I was expecting. The acting was great, though.
I just watched The Constant Gardener for (I think) the third time. I worship the cinematography in this movie.
