pretty in pink the end of this film makes me sad she ends up with the wrong guy. Yeah that annoys me too. I also hate how the "weird" girl in The Breakfast Club is only acceptable to ask out after her preppy little makeover. I watched some movie called Snowcake. Again, I really do like Alan Rickman, but do I want to see him in a love scene with Carrie Ann Moss while NORTHERN LAD plays in the background??? Not really, no. #74#

LOL about the alan rickman scenario. I really like him too but in a weird way like he seems to have an air of creepiness about him in a good way though. Oh i love the breakfast club and had never really thought of that she is definitely the best in that film too without the preppy makeover. The last time i watched it i am ashamed to say i cried at the end it's just so good when the beginning of simple minds starts and they all realize they have this bond. I bought some kind of wonderful the other day and st elmos fire too. They just dont make films like they used to in the 80's.

YES @ air of creepiness... I think that's part of what disturbed during that scene. And I just thought "am I going to think about this every time I hear Northern Lad now?! " - what if they've totaly ruined that song for me!? hahah..
80's films are cool, although I have to admit I haven't seen all the Molly Ringwald things. Breakfast Club is maybe the only major one I know. Sixteen Candles and Pretty In Pink I've seen bits and peices of.. .. what is the one where she's going out with that preppy rich dude?? Is that Pretty In Pink? I have no idea, but it was on tv a few weeks ago so I was watching bits of it in the adbreaks of whatever else I was watching.
Our local music tv channel plays a movie each Sunday night and it's got a real 80's vibe which is great.. they had Revenge of the Nerds a couple of weeks ago! hahah fun. Oh, my sister bought Big on dvd last weekend... I so have to borrow that.

oh i see! and speaking of seeing, the last film i watched was Savage Grace, a biopic starring Julianne Moore. the end of the film is sooooooooo damn disturbing. but i think the lot of youse would like it a lot. you should go watch it. if anything, just to see next year's Oscar winner before the buzz picks up.

^ adding it to my mental list
haven't watched a lot of movies lately :\ the most recent ones were Planet Terror and I Am Legend (the first one was much better, although the second wasn't as bad as I expected..)
I really want to see the new Indiana Jones. It's out on Thursday so maybe I can nag some people into seeing it on cheap night Tuesday.

Run Fat Boy Run (sooo funny... lol Dylan Moran is such a scene stealer.)
