I've had to read Heart of Darkness for three different classes...I really dislike that book. You poor, poor thing :/ I was supposed to read it for one class... and I just couldn't. Luckily the course was really stupid where the teacher gave us handouts about the most important bits in the novels we handled: I just memorized the parts about the Heart of Darkness and aced the exam. Now I kinda have a bet with myself that I can make it through the novel. I've been trying to get it overwith now for about a week. Ugh. And Redcloud: Bahahahha! Yes! ;D

Only if you come during the coldest and darkest time of the year--when Jenni is very, very hungry.

For school I have three summer reading books to finish, I read Ellen Foster and I just finished Fahrenheit 451 the other day. I still have to read Inherit the Wind and then I'll have time to start up Harry Potter 6.

I *just* finished the new HP book. Wow. xo Yay! Did you cry? Actually... no. Which I realize is a bit odd considering everyone else that I know has finished it had cried. I think it was just because the whole situation is one that I knew would have to happen, so I was prepared for it. When it actually got to that point, however, I threw the book on the floor and left the room for a few minutes. So I guess I was more angry than sad. I have been meaning to post my thoughts on it (under a cut) at lj, but I keep putting it off.

Heh I know how you feel throwing the book on the floor. I kinda did a mental equivalent of that - about 100 pages left of the book, I stopped and went "NO. No no no no no no no. No. Don't." lol.

Ok I'm so annoyed with all my books at the moment. I don't know what to read.
I'll have to pick that Angela Bowie book back up and finish it I spose. Non fiction is probably a good way to go right now.

I just finished Violet & Claire by Francesca Lia Block. It has a Tori Amos cameo in it! There's 1 part where they talk about the lyrics in "Bells For Her" and another part where they talk about listening to Tori.
Anyways, it is a really beautifully written book and I recommend it for the Ears With Feet. I think Francesca was inspired by "Bells For Her" to write this. That would be a guess of mine. Very good book.

I've read the new Harry Potter and I feel everything is not as it may seem. Hey I've known a woman named Jean Grey for YEARS and where phoenix's are involved anything is possible. Also for anyone who reads comics pick up the new Klarion (the witch boy) series from DC its awesome. And just for the record if any of you have not read "The Dark Tower" series run don't walk to your nearest bookstore. ok bye now
