Chives are related to onions, but the part that get used is usually the stem, I think. They are skinny little stinky green tubes that get snipped up and often added to sour cream or cream cheese on baked potatoes and bagels and stuff.

Matty, you might be able to get a professional to retrieve it for you. Look up computers in the phone book and look for "data recovery" or "data retrieval". Good luck, that sucks. N~ xo

I don't think I've ever smelled chives. I have a lavender plant in my garden and it smells lovely. You should come to my house. That sounds like a grand idea. #43# Sabsy-rina? Can I come over too? xo Hehe, me too, me too!! I love lavender! I wanna come, too, Sabsy. I love lavender, and um, my plum blossom died Sure, everyone's invited! I just picked up some dried passionflowers and chamomile flowers at the health food store for tea, and I could brew us all a good strong batch. It would go well with the lavender, I think. ♥

i'm getting Cat Power t-shirt adds. lame. not that Cat Power is lame, t-shirt adds are. if they were advertising the Cat Power Hotel or something... now that'd be cool. Chives are related to onions, but the part that get used is usually the stem, I think. They are skinny little stinky green tubes that get snipped up and often added to sour cream or cream cheese on baked potatoes and bagels and stuff. oh that! thanks. language barrier, you know.

The google ads were just showing me something about "Hotel Bjork". lol wtf? That's a hotel I'd be keen to check out! That would rock! It's funny how no matter what topic you are discussing, or have discussed, something related shows shows up on those ads. I always get something about drink specials on a cruise in the Caribbean. Go figure.

How do you say chives? I'm dying to know. actually, we just refer to that as an onion head... i don't think there's a specific word for that in portuguese. although i might be wrong.

germany just beat argentina (after penalty) 5x3!!!poor argentines can go home now. next opponent on the way to the world cup will be italy on tuesday. you guys, the atmosphere in this city - or, most likely - in this entire country is undescribable. the people are happy, walking around singing, and cheering, car horns everywhere, fireworks, flags, everyone dressed in the national colours, screens everywhere, tv sets in each and every café... it's amazing, 4 years ago an atmosphere like this was still far-off and frowned at. thankfully this has changed. and it's wonderful how the cup makes people come together. i've met so many fans from all over the world already, all of them love the feeling of being here. i was watching today's game at a bar, and the guy next to me just kept buying me beers and stuff. that was nice. anyhow, just felt like sharing. keep your fingers crossed for tuesday (and then again for next sunday ), our team really deserves it.
