I haven't been to a lot of concerts, but I'm still having a hard time remembering them all for some reason.
Bands that I've seen live in concert:
The Cranberries (with Collective Soul) Journey (with Foreinger) Dave Matthews Band (with OAR) Tori Amos (with Howie Day) Coldplay (Twice, once with Ron Sexsmith and once with Rilo Kiley) Sarah McLachlan (with Butterfly Boucher) Radiohead (I believe Deerhoof was the opener, don't really remember. It was the best concert ever though.) Damien Rice (with The Frames) Sufjan Stevens (Twice, once with Liz Janes and once with My Brightest Diamond.)
I know that there are more concerts that I've been to, but I guess they must not be worth remembering.

Ok this is roughly in order of when I saw them (except for the ones I saw more than once).
Tool (x3) Blink 182 The Chemical Brothers Foo Fighters (x2) Nine Inch Nails (x2) Red Hot Chili Peppers Shihad (x6) Spiderbait The Feelers (x2) Op Shop Evermore Live (x2) Jane's Addiction PJ Harvey (x3) Queens Of The Stone Age The Living End Deftones The D4 Fur Patrol Bryan Adams America David Bowie A Perfect Circle Incubus The Dresden Dolls Velvet Revolver Green Day Tori Amos (x5) Stevie Nicks Bernard Fanning Ben Harper INXS U2 The Datsuns The Killers Muse Roger Waters #41# The Cure
Impossible to choose a favourite. Standing side of stage for a couple of songs at Red Hot Chili Peppers was pretty memorable. Jane's Addiction were absolutely magical. PJ Harvey first night in Melbourne '04 was one of the best rock concerts I've ever been to. Tori Amos in Melbourne was my favourite of the two (must be something about Melbourne that churns out the good music vibes!). And Shihad a few years back when Jon jumped off the balcony. Rock on.

Hey you didn't say which was your favourite! hehe, do you even have to ask? of course madonna was my favourite. i've been listening to her music since i can remember, and she always puts on the hell of a show, looks amazing, her dancers are sexy, and on the last tour i even made it to the front row. so yeah! but tori comes in as a very close second! a mixture between both concerts, i'd say. the setlist was better at my second concert... but i got to meet her at the m&g for the first one, so it's a tie with a litle tiny bonus for the first one.

I've seen quite a lot of bands during the times I've been to big rock festivals, but frankly I stayed to listen to the whole show from maybe a handful of them. I think I'll leave all the Finnish bands out because... well, if someone cares, I can then write a list Tori Amos The Smashing Pumpkins (farewell tour) Belle and Sebastian (2) The Decemberists Green Day (back in... 96? So different these days) Stereo Total Bands whose shows I've followed all the way through at festivals: Placebo Weezer Primus Suede Black Sabbath Krøyt Kent and a bunch of Finnish bands. My list is puny compared to you guys'... As you can see, Finland isn't really a haven for rock bands--they come to Stockholm and that's it as far as they go in the North. The only ones out of the "single concerts" I've seen in Finland were SP and Green Day. It's hard to say which was my ultimate favorite. I would rank Tori and the Smashing Pumpkins alongside just because of the sheer intensity of both of their performances: both were in huge arenas, and completely embraced and engaged the audience in a way I thought was possibly only in small clubs (Billy Corgan made a joke about a Finnish F1 driver, for crying out loud!) Then again, both of the Belle and Sebastian shows have been fun because I've got to dance my boots off in both of them and sing along.

There's not too many of these: Red Hot Chili Peppers 2000? Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds 2004 Tori 2005 Pink! 2006 Nick Cave 2006 I feel like I've forgotten something, but probably it just is that the rest are club gigs by mostly Finnish bands and then shows at festivals which I don't really count as concerts... oh, and of course there's the little sad fact that most bands and artist don't even come to Finland like Jenni mentioned. I've seen 3 of those concerts in Helsinki. The Bad Seeds one just happened to be in Brussels when I was studying there, and for Tori I had no reservations about flying to Frankfurt!

Oh God, I've seen so many concerts over the years. When I was a teenager I used to go around meeting bands and getting in free to their shows. No, I did NOT sleep with any bands or roadies. Here are some of shows I've seen: ~Radiohead (met them too) ~Foo Fighters (met them too, it's true, Dave Grohl is the nicest guy in music) ~Green Day (met them and hung out with them in their trailer) ~Sloan (know them, seen them a million times) ~Sarah Slean (met her) ~Tori X 2 (Stood about two feet away from her, got an autograph) ~Shania Twain (met her too) ~Smashing Pumpkins X 2 (talked to D'Arcy & James on the phone, and Billy's agent on the phone) ~Rufus Wainwright X 2 (Met him too) ~Hole ~A Perfect Circle ~Our Lady Peace X 5 (met them too) ~Elliott Smith (Met him) There are tonnes more, but I have to get back to work. xo

@ nattie. ya! it was rockin! they all look really old now, no hassles rocking the party at the drop of a hat though @ aims. yeah! that was in september of 2003 I think. that was my first ever concert, honestly compared to other concerts I've been to it wasnt that good. the fans where really annoying, the setlist wasnt that good and the props on the stage seemed pretty self obsessed: there was a giant inflatable MM head in the background. Dont worry you didnt miss out on much.

Jewel Tori Amos Alanis Morisette w/ Garbage George The Bangles Sarah McLachlan
Not necessarily in that order, I forget which order I did see them in. Jewel was my favourite (no offence to Tori). She was just so comfortable up there with her guitar and she's so funny constantly cracking jokes! Someone fell off the stage when they were passing her a gift and she incorporated it into the song.
Anyway, the list is still very small but these are who I've seen in concert.
