I'm about half-way finished with my HARRY. i literally read over 300 pages yesterday. i'm going to do a bit more each night this week. i actually didn't want to read it too quickly because i'm sad it's going to be over but at the same time, i'm extremely curious! The same here, got it yesterday and now about halfway through, I don't want to finish it too fast either. also lately been reading Susanna Clarke's Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell, quite enjoyable... and long, but the chapter are short so it seems to be proceeding nicely.

I just read I Know This Much is True about a month ago. I was proud of myself. I finished that mother fucker in four days. And I loved it. holy hell!! (i say that having finished harry in the same amount of time and it was only slightly shorter). i read she's come undone a really long time ago and then the other day a friend saw that on my bookshelf and asked if i had read this one. she said it was one of her favorites so i just had to pick it up. i like it so far, but i'm only about 125 pages in, which hardly makes a dent in this baby!

I was going to buy Fragile Things a little while ago but I didn't and now I regret that. >.< I thought to buy it later and now the bookshop doesn't have it. Boo hoo. About Stardust, I think Tristan is quite hobbit-like character.

Oh no well, I hope they have it in soon and you'll get your copy someday! I did end up taking it to work and have been reading it all week. There's a couple of stories in particular, that just make me go wow... hehe. That man has one crazy imagination. So far the creepy ones have been my favourites.

I just finished The Mistress' s Daughter by A.M. Homes. I was really drawn in by it. It's her personal story of being adopted and the emotional journey as she meets her birth parents. She's an interesting writer - brings up varied and intense emotions.
