Foreign City by Charlotte Grimshaw.
But now I've just re-joined the library and am all ants in my pants about getting books out.. but want to finish this one first because it's been ages since I read anything by a NZ writer. blahhh..

I just read The End of Alice by A.M. Homes and it was by far the most disturbing thing I have ever read.

^Yeah, I think I might skip that book. I read some reviews and stuff. It's probably well written and brilliant, but.... Well, maybe someday. When I feel like getting my brain scrambled with. But right now I'm good. I haven't been reading as much lately as I'd like. My concentration isn't the best right now, so I've been rereading bird behavior books and stuff. I read two books on my trip to and from montana- Lucky by Alice Sebold and Swimming by Johanna Hershom They were both pretty good, but dark.

Slash's autobiography. Not THE best rockstar autobiography I've read, but it's pretty interesting!

Actually Slash's book ended up being a total page-turner. MAN Axl is a wank. Of course I already knew that, but yeah. Really. And Slash never dished any major dirt about him and everything was written in a pretty respectful way. Good on him.

Ooh you'll probably enjoy it then It was especially interesting learning about the little stories behind some of the songs! Those guys had an amazing creative dynamic going when all was well. I love The Perks of Being a Wallflower - and I tend to agree, wish I'd read that book when I was a teenager.

I just read The Criss Cross and it was soooo good! page turning, a lot of messed up things happen but the writer is amazing. I hope to read more of her stuff soon! Now I'm reading a book about a murder called I'd kill for that with each chapter written by a different author. it's very interesting. never read something like that before.

Atonement. Started it last night, after having read the first couple of chapters of A Clockwork Orange.. I just couldn't get into it. I feel guilty for not giving it more of a chance but it just annoyed me. So then I got a notice from the library saying Atonement (which I had on hold) was available, so yep. hahaha... so thrilling, I'm sure that was interesting for all.

I can't just sit down and read one book at a time ( unless it's a laurel k hamilton) so I ussually read 3 or 4 a few pages here a chapter or 2 there so here's the current list.

Twilight
I know.
My friend said she had to send me her copy so she had someone to diss it with. That's ok though, my brain was starting to hurt from reading too much non-fiction anyway.

All the girls at Ryan's work are reading the Twilight series. I think his head would explode if he came home and I was reading it, too.
Fortunately, I found out that it breaks friggin' EVERY vampire rule ever. Which leaves me with NO desire to read at all. What're vampires without rules?!

I KNOW! Vampires that run around in the daytime?! NOOOO!!! I don't think I've encountered the most irritating parts yet, but yesterday I read quite a bit of it and this conversation between Edward and Bella where he won't give her a straight answer, and it just keeps going round and round and round - I wanted to stab myself in the eye. lol I saw an ad on tv for the movie tonight (don't think it's out here yet) and just laughed. The sad thing is I'll probably watch it.. but not till it's on dvd and stuff
